McRobo Creations - 3.75" Khetanna Sail Barge & Imperial Star Destroyer

Trying to decide on how to use your income tax return? Well, McRobo Creations is currently offering some pretty incredible vehicle/playsets that will really knock your socks off!

First, is an impressive 3.75" Khetanna Sail Barge for purchase. Since Hasbro stated that they will not be making this iconic behemoth, this is likely your only chance to get one in your Star Wars collection. Check it out, they offer the vehicle in four different variations with pricing ranging from $500 to $3,000! McRobo Creations also makes other large-scale Star Wars vehicles too.

JABBA's BARGE - DELUXE

JABBA's BARGE - STANDARD

For a more finished presentation there is the Standard Jabba's Barge model. It features four bay doors with hinges that open into the interior, posable sails, turning gun turrets, gun racks on the main sails posts, a solid cannon, and four lifts for hover appearance. Made of new styrene sheet plastic, it's sturdy and durable, and the thickness of a nickel. Hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind. Painted with quality paint with metallic flake. The finished piece is four feet long, a foot wide and approximately 3 feet tall.

MODELER's PLAIN WHITE HULL

The cheapest item is the Plain White Basic Hull version.

The second item that they sell is a colossal Imperial Star Destroyer playset. 160 hours of work went into this piece. Materials are mostly ABS Flat Plastic (Styrene) and it is just gorgeous! The 6' long playset version runs for $1,600, but if that price is a little too steep for you, there is also a non-playset version that sells for extremely reasonable price of $450. Maybe we have expensive tastes, but the playset version is just beautiful. We're sure any Star Wars fans would love one of these!

My Custom Birthday Present

A few weeks ago was my birthday, and like last year, Dad made me a customized Star Wars gift. He recently made me into an action figure, but the drawback of the action figure was that it couldn't go into a Jedi Starfighter without ruining the paint job Dad had given it. So when my birthday came around, he provided me with a solution to my dilemma. A starfighter that could help me travel the Star Wars galaxy. To do this he modified a G.I. Joe vehicle and gave it a Star Wars feel.

Love the escape pod!!

X-Wing Astromech Droid

Dad painted the R2-D2 on this Vintage POTF X-Wing over a year ago to diversify my X-wing fleet. This may have been his "real" first custom come to think of it. Although back then, he didn't consider himself to be a customizer. I don't even think he knew what a customizer was back then.

The Beginning: Defect Becomes Child Favorite

ARIANNA

The art of making customs started sometime last year when we ordered a Ahsoka Tano from Tunghori's Star Wars Army Store (http://myworld.ebay.com/tunghori/) on ebay. We were pretty excited when the little green package arrived in our mailbox. That is until we opened the cardboard box and saw the action figure was missing her signature white face paint. Fortunately, my dad had found an Ahsoka that very day at our local Target. So he grabbed some old model paints he had bought a few years earlier to customize my GeoTrax train set (he never got around to painting it) and Arianna was born, complete with her own custom Jedi Starfighter. Now I use her in just about every story I create. Her history spans all the way from the days just before the Clone Wars straight through to becoming a member on Luke's Jedi Council.

Arianna and her custom Jedi Starfighter. I chose R2-KT as Arianna's astromech droid & co-pilot after hearing the story of Katie Johnson. I turn 7 this year and Katie Johnson's story inspired me to make her a big part of my Star War's adventures.

Since then, my dad has made me lots of customs figures and started army building for me too. Our new blog will showcase what we've made so far and some customs made by other artists that we picked up along the way. We'll try and provide you with some links to these talented artists in case you want to get some of their customs for your own and Dad will give you some tips to those of you who are just starting out. Dad says he's just a beginner himself so don't expect much, but his customs are good enough for me.
